A quick moving storm system will bring snow for most parts of Colorado late this evening, through the overnight and into Thursday, March 16, 2023. As this system moves through, it will meet some good low-level moisture in Texas and Oklahoma along with decent daytime heating as high temperatures are expected to reach the mid to upper 70’s around the Dallas area tomorrow. A chance for storms will be possible in the early morning hours for areas along the Oklahoma/Texas border, with storm chances picking up into the afternoon and evening hours. The best chance for severe weather will be in the late afternoon and early evening, when daytime heating is at its peak. Expect to see widespread storms throughout most of Texas and Oklahoma tomorrow with the focus for severe weather around Dallas and northward into Oklahoma as seen in the outlook provided by the National Weather Service’s Storm Prediction Center below. These storms will bring gusty winds 60+mph, heavy rainfall, hail up to 2.5” with a chance for isolated, generally short-lived tornadoes (EF0-EF2 Range).
